THEME IDEAS.

We were told to brainstorm about project ideas about the following themes, so I thought of a few I thought would be fun and have explained why.
1) Confession: This is a topic of self awareness, self reflection, and a journey of search.  I feel this project will be somewhat difficult for me to really grasp.  However, being fully divulged in this Art class, I really want to do something expressive with myself.  I am thinking of doing something artistic with my self, something to do with my body (obviously appropriate haha).  I want to really try and stray away from a painting, which is my normal form of artistic expression.  I have a specific idea in mind but I really don't want to give it away yet!
2)Sequence and Narratives:  I love storytelling.  Over summer, I took a film class and loved the filming and editing process.  I would love to do a short film for this project, perhaps a music video telling a story close to me.  Hopefully I can get my hand on a camera for this one!
3)Alternate Personas:  Although I am not completely sure the full lengths and details about this assignment, I am already excited by the title.  I hope it has something to do with self expression.  I would love to do some type of sculpture or object creation with this one.  I really want to work with mirrors, or broken glass (less unlucky) at some point and I feel this might be a cool project to work with these materials.
4) Personal Space: This concept is one I have actually reflected upon a lot.  I think it is really important for individuals to have personal space in order to self-reflect and learn about oneself.  I think maybe a display of some sort (shoebox clay setting) would be interesting and something I have never done before.
