Sequence NARR ideas
For my sequence/narrative project, I only have one idea that I feel really strongly about that I really want to do. I am gonna go along with the structure of portraying someone else's view of life. My nephew, Charlie Pine, is a nine year old boy who completely lives in his own world. Although the doctors have had trouble diagnosing him as particularly autistic, he clearly has social issues and mental issues that cause him to explore his world on his own. I find him so interesting and smart, the things he says sometimes blow my mind. He strives to understand some complexities of the world that nine year old boys are not supposed to be able to get. Anyways, I want to spend the day with him on Sunday with my camera and just film pretty much a day in the life of Charlie. I really hope it works out and if not I will clearly think of a new idea and do something else but for now this is my only inspiration. I hope the camera doesn't shy him off but I am planning on going to his house so he will be in his own environment. I'm going to avoid sticking the camera in his face and I'm going to let him handle the camera himself too so he doesn't feel trapped.
